We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Assembly Technician for a full time 6 month contractor role. In this role, you will assist in detector test and production for underwater detectors.
Duties
Assemble components and products according to detailed specifications and work instruction.
Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure product integrity and adherence to standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and report any equipment malfunctions promptly
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment
Report on activities and results from tests, measurements, and assembly.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in system/component assembly.
Previous knowledge of mechanical assembly, gluing and assembly of large components and basic troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures
Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
